Privacy or Public property

While being famous, one has to pay a huge price for that which could be either invasion of privacy or being placed on spy list. Actors, politicians, sportsmen were at the top list of news agencies and paparazzi, but now this has gone on a new height.

BBC revealed that there are dozen of such famous people who are allegedly being spied. The surprising element is that private investigators are being put on that job. Such list includes Prince William, actor Daniel Radcliffe, former attorney general Lord Goldsmith, football manager Jose Mourinho, and football pundit Gary Lineker.
Though people love these celebrities, they love them and very anxious and eager to have up-to-date knowledge about the happenings in their lives. This very anxiety is being en-cashed by news channels and agencies.
There is a celebrity obsession culture, in which we act like famous people are somehow supposed to have higher moral integrity. However, they are famous, and if a fan wants an autograph, this is not necessarily infringing upon their rights of privacy, but when they are not allowed to vacation without the threat of constantly being photographed, this amounts to an obstruction to their right to privacy.

As far as politicians, as long as their personal lives are not affecting the decisions they make that will impact lives of a ordinary citizen, its OK. Whenever either of these parties though are "at work" then their actions are deemed to be within the public sphere. Political meetings should be transparent as they have nothing to do with the privacy of the individual citizen.

Ordinary people going about their day-to-day lives aren't under threat of constant harassment that is extremely stressful or even physical danger from complete strangers for just revealing their identities. The threat of maybe being robbed if leaving a door or  the window open is different from a constant and quite likely threat of fans stealing possessions or photographers taking pictures of in the shower if they know where a famous figure lives. If anyone was under that kind of very personal threat, its is very much necessary to expect the law to do something about it.
Doesn't these people deserve a bit of respect and privacy? There is a mandatory need to put a line here otherwise poo and lu activities will be highlighted and exhibited and who knows where it might lead more!!!!!
